Missouri was lacking players needed from each of those years....
If we had the 15’ defense in those two seasons we would of won at least 1 Natty.
Pinkel was great for Missouri but lacked in keeping the depth up to par.
I think of Matt Hoch having to switch to defense....
If you look at what Drink is doing with depth and juco/grad guys, it’s very impressive.
Pinkel was able to build depth in certain areas across the team, but it seemed to always be lacking in one area. 15’ was the year we had no offense and just needed some decent receivers. I blame that on losing DGB to discipline issues and not landing a few STL guys etc...
Drink is already leaps and bounds ahead of Pink and Od IMO
