No, because in the eyes of our wannabe nanny state oppressors, the young men playing football at D1 schools are simple children being manipulated by The Man. They don't even like football but it's their only hope of making better than minimum wage. Their college degrees are actually a worthless handout and they don't actually learn anything in college. They're too underprivileged and helpless to learn or make their own decisions. We must take care of them at all costs.
