Just for the Flu season of 2018-2019. Influenza killed approximately 35,000 for the entire season. That is with flu shots and various other treatment options available.

Now compare that to Covid-19 which just year to date has surpassed 172,000 deaths in the USA and that is from February, 6 months ago till now. That is with everything we have done so far including lock downs, masks, etc.

I don't live in fear I'm just fine, but a great deal of people who have more than their own lives to deal with are making the decisions when it comes to playing or not playing. If you don't like that sorry but it is what it is.

Sorry you can't find other ways to entertain yourself. Sorry that you think football has to go on to make your life more complete. Sorry you think others should put people you don't even know and don't care one iota about at further risk.

Step back from your keyboard and see the forest, not the trees. You'll be just fine if football doesn't go on this year.
