It would be the top national story for days, and the attacker would have been charged with a hate crime.
Instead, this story received no coverage at all from the mainstream media, and the attacker will likely get probation and have the crime expunged from his record upon completion like it never happened. In other words, a slap on the wrist.
The double standard is incredible.
