essentially Yugos - cheap junk.
The American auto makers never learned and still have not learned to this day, how to match Japanese quality and reliability.
It's great that we get to drive expensive Toyotas.
But it's sad that GM/Ford/Chrysler still remain arrogant and dismissive even as they've been flushed to the crap part of the market.
Hell, in recent years Toyota even won over the truck market, creating an ugly truck that is the spitting image of an F-150 or a Silverado.
There must be some seriously stupid executives and union workers in those US auto plants...
