That shows that at no point during his tenure were independents more than 38% satisfied nor democrats more than 15% satisfied. The poll indicates there was a gross artificial inflation of overall satisfaction from a subset of the population who lives in a reality-less bubble of misinformation. Which came crashing down when reality infringed even slightly on the perception that was created for them to consume.
Trump has never even attempted to govern for anyone other than his base. So by default at no point could it possibly be true that satisfaction in general could be at high water marks.
