Recent recruits I can think at 75 or bellow:

Wes clark 75th
Tray Jackson 85
Watson 112
Pinson 248
Pickett 292
Tramaine Isabell 274
Kevin Puryear 387
Kobe Brown 251

I listed several players some made an impact at Mizzou and others made an impact at other schools, but I also wanted to list guys well bellow top 100 to give you some context.

Maybe the most impactful player is rated 248 (pinson) versus other top 100. No I won't refute your previous stance that top 75 have a better chance to be better players they do but pinson a top 250 kid could be a key player on a tournament team.

Pickett and Puryear ranked at 292 and 387 are good players not stars to build around but a 5th starter or a key player off the bench for a competitive team. Kobe Brown has really good upside and was ranked 251. Recruiting rankings can matter but player development and a good fit with the coaching staff can matter even more
