the numbers ... I thought I was missing something.

Total Cases = 433.314 (#1)
Total Deaths = 32,552 (#1)
Total Cases/1M Pop = 22,274 (#1)
Total Deaths/1M Pop = 1,673 (#2)

They've handled it brilliantly. I don't think he realizes what he actually said ... states should have let the virus run through their populations in the beginning. Shut downs (that he recommended and still does to this day) only delayed this.
