all programs in modern college sports history. We went from avging 25.5 wins per season the preceeding 6 years to avging 9 wins per season and getting dead last in conference every season under Kim. In addition we put ourselves on probation, gave ourselves considerable APR issues, and allowed attendance to get so bad we had to start reporting tickets sold rather than actual attendance. All of that was easily predicable given the candidate in question was someone we had already passed over 3 prior times and hadn't been associated with D1 basketball in the current century, nor shown any propensity to recruit at this level or have any of the necessary connections or skill set to succeed at this level. Sure, he did a lot worse than could have been reasonably expected. But even going in most knew it was the worst hire ever and the only surprising development would have been him avoiding failing at a historical level. Unfortunately that was not to be.
Cuonzo has done terrible thus far. And won 50 games in less time than it took Kim to win 27.
