abused mercilessly and endlessly by the press corpse.
The constant barrage of lies, innuendo and twisted "reporting" by the media takes a toll.
Nixon cracked. He was convinced correctly, that the media were out to get him. He did not have twitter. He could only react to the accusations.
So he allowed himself to get goaded into cheating to win an election that he won in a landslide. He did not need to cheat.
He cracked.
Trump thus far has stood strong. Very strong. He is probably getting it worse than nixon did, what with social media and hollywood gems like kathy griffith, robert dezero, and the ultimate luminary, alyssa milano.
Nixon cracked.
It's only been 3.5 years but so far trump looks good. Can he stand it for four more years?
