what animals can consent to and what they can't enjoy?

There was a story in the news a few years or so ago about a woman who asked her son to come over to her house and dog sit for her. The dogs were overly "loving" and he noticed a video on a coffee table. He watched in and was horrified to see that he mother was making doggie sex films. He found others there.

He called the cops on his Mom and she was arrested.

Question for you, pickle & other anarchists: Should she have been arrested? Who was harmed?

The story continued that the Humane Society or its equivalent ended up killing the dogs. People were upset and the fur was flying, so to speak. How could they kill the dogs because of something the woman had done?

The reply was that the dogs were too sexualized to give out in public adoptions. They loved the sex too much and were always humping anyone who came close.

It doesn't sound like they were coerced? Again, what right do you have to dictate whether another animal can have sex with whomever he or she wants?
