playing of the national anthem. The minister did not even take a knee in protest.
There was no black national anthem to counterbalance the systemic racism inherent in the star spangled banner.
America the beautiful was also played and there was no playing of
FLICK THE PO-LICE or any other beautiful rendition of black pride or the indomitable black spirit.
The sermon did not mention racism, george floyd, oppressive police, terrible statues that have plagued the black community for generations and have kept young black children from achieving their potential.
There was even, and i'm serious, an old testament reading that included the words "he had wealth, land and slaves" and it was not mentioned that slavery was evil. Not sure how that's racist because most of the old testament did not take place in philadelphia, but it was patently offensive nonetheless.
Of course i was allowed to wear my klan hood instead of a mask. So there's that.
Churches must be burned down. I guess.
