and reported it to NASCAR, then NASCAR and the FBI launched an investigation, notifying Bubba that they had found a noose in the garage (as Bubba did not discover it, or even see it, he believed what NASCAR and his team was telling him what they found)....

I'd say Bubba was 1) to be upset based on the information he had and 2) did not do anything wrong, therefore why would he be fired?
