Got a DWI. She blew like a .23 after a country concert. That wasn't the funniest part. We get the police narrative and the officer notes that upon walking up to the window he notes a strong odor of not only alcohol, but vomit and...feces.
I guess she got lost looking for a bathroom to puke and maybe to ****. Anyway, she never landed at one and so she was busted with DWI.
So the oddest part is that when I told her that she'd have to plea, she said she understood and then ghosted me. We sent letter after letter and even her Dad wouldn't return my calls. So we filed a motion to withdraw and that was granted. As far as I know she never entered a plea and is probably in active warrant status. My theory is because she's afraid she'll have to talk about the puke and poop in her car when she was initially pulled over. Which is dumb because it would never come up during the plea in front of the judge.
