Not the British empire. The British did not nationalize the East India Trading company until almost 80 years after the revolution. Furthermore the tea tax was applied as a result of the 7 years war, which you might or might not know as the fench and Indian war... when Britain helped defend the colonies.
So they destroyed private property you boot licking loyalist. Time for you to go back to basic American History.
