However, Parker is a rare exception in that I think with limited practice reps he could still go in on passing downs and get after the QB. At the very least he would be ineffective just like our DE's the last five years. As a true freshman the kid was manhandling upperclassmen on blocks into the sideline. He is a rare speciman that has been mostly wasted up to this point. The kid can play three positions at the D1 level, and he can probably come in on passing downs a few times a game and will pressure on the QB.....if the team is depleted of talent at DE.
