protected status as "platforms"? Will they be classified as "publishers" because they censor the content posted and as such be vulnerable to libel lawsuits? Will they be found guilty of election meddling?

IMO the Congress needs to regulate all social media as publishers UNLESS all content is free from censorship. Period.
