Why aren't they promoting hydroxychloroquine? How many units do they actively manufacture? What's the annual sales?
Included in there are many which generate billions in sales. There's even brand name medications (Kevzara) in their portfolio which cost thousands of dollars that are being investigated to treat covid. Why isn't cheeto touting that drug? Increased sales of that, since it's under patent protection, would substantially raise the stock price of sanofi. If it goes high enough, maybe the <1% stake that mutual fund holds in sanofi might show some dividends for him.
