It's a long term hold, and over time volitility doesn't matter if the asset value is increasing. Bitcoin 5 years ago was $300. It's near $10k today and hasn't been below 3k in the last 3.

Inflation of the money supply has been the only thing propping up stock prices over the last 10 years. Not gains in productivity.
