and thus a waste of time worrying about. Especially because chances are much higher that you haven't been exposed, so why would you take a risk upon yourself by wearing a mask just out of paranoia? That isn't sensible.

If you know you've been exposed by a person who has tested positive, then it is a sensible and respectful thing to do if you need to go out.

Otherwise, everyone is taking their own risks when they go into public. If you don't want to take that risk, by all means, stay home. Or wear a mask if that makes you comfortable.
