Like reconstruction after the civil war, stupid people, corrupt people and power hungry people will try to exploit the weakened nation for their benefit.

New taxes, new regulations, new laws to protect us, and new restrictions on speech, assembly, religion, the fourth amendment will be attempted.

As will funding for every pet project from the kennedy center to the green new deal to bailouts for poorly run, corrupt blew states.

It’s already happening.
