He wasn't eligible for the "one year remaining on his sentence, so let's let him out so he doesn't catch the COVID-19". And apparently not part of the "he's old enough he won't re-offend" release program.

So why is Northam's parole board letting this scumbag out of prison?

The only way he should get out is in a pine box.
