I hope those who claim we must dramatically destroy our economy now because of models and of "scientific consensus" of what will happen in 20 years, and who try and end all discussion based on just those factors, will be challenged. None of the dire predictions from 20 years ago have happened. We just learned that while models and scientific predictions are valued, they are often wrong.

There is nothing wrong with healthy skepticism when we are making decisions of this magnitude.
