ticked off the authorities who immediately sent out memos strictly prohibiting releasing any information on it. They went into a quick lockdown... which is highly suspicious.

The Wuhan Institute of Virology was working on exactly these types of viruses right in the vicinity of the breakout and suddenly went radio silent after a couple of leaks by whistleblower doctors... and there was a crackdown and reprimands.

That was in stark contrast to an earlier virus outbreak several years earlier in a southern province of China, where all previous outbreaks of new viruses in China had come from. Then the Wuhan Institute of Virology was on public television right away giving out a lot of information. That is why the coverup this time looks so highly suspicious. They are guilty and embarrassed.
