I fully endorse this message.

Now the problem is, does this get viewed by the AD as the lone p5 game? Because if so, that schedule is going to get old quick (e.g. ku (KC), FCS, MAC, Sun Belt).

If the AD can schedule multiple p5 teams at a time (e.g. @Illinois, kansas, FCS, home/away with decent opponent), they can really help build interest in the program while still striving for bowl eligibility.
