Went with a hit stick tackle with my free safety and missed by about three yards, and every other defender acted like the play was dead.
Later in the same game, I had a cornerback miss when going to deflect a pass, then he just stood there looking around as the receiver caught it, caught his balance on the sideline, and took it in another 40 yards or so for a touchdown.
Pretty sure this was a game where the CPU decided there would be a few scripted big plays.
