I’d rather hear him talk about sleepy joe or lying chuck, than “my distinguished and esteemed colleague from the great state of California.”
Be very careful or the media will twist your words. Hell, they do that anyway. Talk to the people, not to your enemies in the press.
Remember when reagan said, “The bombing starts in five minutes”? That was dangerous, provocative and unpresidential.
And brilliant. Kept enemies and adversaries off balance.
There are times when his language needs to be precise. But not most of the time.
