But in the end if it is true 80% of the people who have this may not even know they had it, and most people recover just fine, was it worth ruining lives and businesses?

We could stop many flu deaths by doing this annually. We could likely greatly lower the flu rate. But we don't. Why?

Please explain why this message is being reported.
