I’m sure no insider, but I read that MU and the Gov advocated to become a B10 member. A junior membership was offered, and MU hesitated. Barry Alvarez (Wisky AD and Nebr Alumni) went to Nebr with the junior membership offer, and Nebr accepted. So no spot for MU, as we stayed in B12 until the Okla AD made Deaton mad and we moved to the $EC. The $EC move was after MU attempted to join the B10.

Glad we are in the SEC.
