position might prevent one (Chief of Staff) in an important position from making missteps - in that position, the Chief of Staff, might provide guidance to his boss that keeps him putting himself in a position to be impeached (rather than just saying "YES".)

In his position as a representative, West's own chief of staff had sexual harassment complaints, and Meadows himself was fined by the House Ethics Committee (a gop majority at the time).

Meadows just seems completely unqualified for the position.
