His previous 1 yr contract was more of a 'prove you can still play' signing, as opposed to a true Second Contract. Now he's on the verge of signing that vaunted next step properly. Market value for him is projected to be around 4yr/$54mil, over $13mil per season. Lack of movement or noise from his camp or the Giants suggest a possible big deal incoming.. OR perhaps someone new is coming in on the sly & throwing crazy-money at him?
