I have been preaching the idea of giving guys 6 fouls in college for years. In spite of all my direct lines to the NCAA, the idea seems to have no traction.
I think even refs would agree the officiating is inconsistent, so why not give both players and officials a bit more margin for error? (Tilmon would still foul out in 19 minutes.)
