Thoughts?
I thought Joe Biden did extremely well in that setting. Of course, his segment was more personal and less policy. It was more of a longing for yesteryear and I'm not sure we ever get back there. But, the segment on his stuttering issue and on how they were trying to move forward with cancer treatments was very relatable for a lot of people. That's where he becomes Common Joe and is effective. Still not going to win.
Warren seems passionate, but damn, you can't fix every problem for every person. You just can't and her insistence on biting off too much just reinforces the lefty loon stereotype.
Yang was interesting, but unlike some of the reviewers, I thought it was low energy, not a boost in energy. He's got some great data takeaways, but seems too evasive on actual governance. I could see him getting a cabinet position if a Dem were to win though.
Steyer is a bit odd, but the dude is feisty. No name recognition and no chance, but he's certainly not afraid to take a stance.
