so, i'll probably get hammered but give an outsider view nonetheless.
drink is a high-risk, high-reward hire. he'll either be a huge success or gone after four years. i expected missouri to pull in someone like boise's coach.
i also thought both ole miss and miss state made better choices but don't know enough about arkansas to even guess other than he has some sec seasoning, rather like jeremy pruitt in that way.
drink is the classic 'a wing and a prayer' hire. competing with sec big-name coaches for recruits is going to be an incredible challenge. it seems to me he's a 'best of the rest' choice and even if true that may not be good enough in the sec. we'll see soon enough if tiger prayers are answered and mizzou landed a good one.
