1. Odom was not awesome on the recruiting trail before he left, and anytime a coach is fired ties are going to be severed.

2. Arky has poached a couple of players after the move and the Pigs have filled positions with coaches already having ties in the region.

3. Despite a checkered past, Kiffin's name alone is sparking a recruiting spike in a region closer to a deep well of talent. Plus, they've probably rebooted their pay-to-play scheme, and that's going to provide a boost.
