I agree. My problem with this vote buying scheme is this.

The schools involved inflated prices, lied to kids, and in general are a massive part of the problem.

They aren't being held accountable, and lying liz warren's solution will only reward the poor behavior more.

and sadly, it's mean of me to say, but if you got screwed over on student loans, maybe you shouldn't be in college in the first place.

Taxpayers should NOT pay a dime on this. The universities have 554 billion in college endowments. If they want to buy votes, help the loan crowd, get it from those who profited.
