...of themselves as "White" Evangelical Christians. Happily, other Evangelical Christians who are "Black" are going to vote Republican going forward. That should be a lasting and long term change, as more and more experience success because of Trump's policies and as more understand the racist background of the Dem's. It is hard for the Dems to maintain a false narrative when so much info is available from non-MSM sources.
Second, Evangelicals don't look to Trump as a moral leader. Rather, we appreciate his advocacy for free speech, freedom of religion, and for his appointment of judges who will interpret the law as originalists, rather than legislating from the bench. All people are personally flawed, including me. People who seek power typically are more flawed than others.
