the House's mandate was just finding sufficient evidence to send it to the Senate for a trial.

As with an indictment, not all evidence and witnesses must necessarily be presented in the indictment process that would be presented in the full blown trial.

Assuming the Senate does their Constitutional duty to hold a trial, that is (which almost certainly they will not)
