Speculation but probably based on unfounded information OR Drink brought him in for the weekend and sat down with him to tell him that he and his staff see him as a LB on this team and not a RB.

This would make sense as he probably went on the visit thinking he was still being recruited as an RB but felt lied to when Drink wanted him on the team at a different position.

Pretty classless way to flip his commitment (obviously based on emotion) but the stink he caused with Mizzou fans will be short-lived. He, Odom, Davis, Pittman, and any others flipping to Arky will have to go to work to prove it on the field. My bet is their asses are kicked by the time they see us and we roll them next year and they won't have the benefit of poaching our coaches next year to flip our recruits.
