played ball almost daily there

In the 80's and 90's I played a lot of ball. Doug nicknamed me little man because he couldn't remember my name but recognized me all the time. Probably played a thousand games with Lynn, he was there more than I was.
My favorite pickup moment was with Peeler. I had a long rebound come to me and turned up court on a fast break. Suddenly a flash of speed went running along the right sideline. It was Peeler. I tossed the ball towards the rim and watched him go up, grab the ball with two hands and in one motion slam it down the rim. As he ran back on defense along the opposite sideline, he smiled at me and pointed his index finger at me.
That was cool. Miss those days.
