Especially as time goes on. Why? Because these doctors are not employees of the government, they are private individuals with private practices. There's nothing stopping them from raising their prices more and more (as government is their only, guaranteed customer), causing the gov't to spend more money to fund the program, and of course tax more to keep the money flowing. Taxes will be astronomical, as in these other countries with similar programs.
In private insurance, there is a complete marketplace of goods and services from multiple insurance companies, keeping prices, and taxes more regulated.
