Pinkel showed the way - all you gotta do is recruit players that can play.

From Texas. From Ohio. From any of the SEC states.

And the pitch is: "We're going to beat Saban or Orgeron or Malzahn or Jimbo in Atlanta, and then we're going to the CFP - you with us?"

Pinkel didn't get to recruit very long being able to say that, and it's a huge advantage.
