could be he doesn’t have an heir apparent identified and waiting since the season imploded so quickly. If he dumps Odom, he’d be wise to have a strong recruiter And their staff ready to take over immediately. Remembering when he cut Anderson loose, he had a quick transition plan. A good one. No one could or ever argue he didn’t upgrade the position. Bet it will unfold the same way.
