I mean, that's a ridiculous question. If I offered you $3.05 million per year, to be the coach, the fact that you are an alum would have nothing to do with your loyalty to the fans.
That's $3.05 million that means loyalty to your family, and your financial future, and you'd hang on as long as you could no matter what. Not to mention stepping down would keep him from another HC job for a long time.
This true son crap is stupid. In fact, we are all loyal to $$$, and you're worth every penny you can get someone to give you.
99.9% of the people on this board and in the Mizzou fanbase, hate KU, OU, KSU, etc...but if one of those schools said," We'll pay you $1 million a year to come do XYZ", you'd drop everything you were doing and take the job.
