a 3rd-team all-SEC level player to an All-American who was picked as a POY by Sporting News. And he's likely going to be better than any college player today because every college player who could compete with him would already be in the NBA by the time they were upperclassmen.
Can you imagine if players like Ben Simmons, Karl-Anthony Towns, Marvin Bagley, Trae Young, or Zion Williamson played 3 or 4 years in college how much they would dominate? That's what routinely happend back in the 80s and 90s.
