there have been a lot of passes thrown behind receivers and there have been games (KY) with tough conditions for catching passes. That may be beyond their control.

That being said, there have been any number of passes that COULD or SHOULD have been caught. Kam Scott certainly could have given a better effort on Saturday and quite frankly, if I'm him, I'm ashamed, because announcers will rarely call out a lack of effort, but they did on that play. If he has any pride in his game, he should take that to heart.
