as we learned this year with Wyoming, and years ago with Troy (along with LSU last year).

Scheduling weak P5 opponents is smarter than scheduling strong G5 opponents. In the former case, there is something to gain and far less to lose. It also has far greater appeal to fans and media.

I'll say it again: teams like Troy, SEMO, and Wyoming are no-win situations with severe consequences if you happen to lose.
