Sterk isn't completely sold on Odom being the answer but he isn't completely sold on him not being the answer either
Look for Andy Hill to move on and Rocky Long coming on board for a big check (900K, which is about what he's making now), asst. head coach title, special teams coordinator, and very little out-of-the-region recruiting (this was a huge part of the deal as he is getting up there and age and over the travel for recruiting)
Long is allegedly over the demands of being a HC. He can make pretty much the same paycheck but not having to deal with all that and helping his buddy Sterk stabilize the program.
Odom will be coaching for his job in 2020, but he will certainly be back for another year with a "mentorship" in place
