will have stolen over $20+ million dollars from MU and cratered its two revenue programs in the process.
What's sad is that anyone with an IQ over 70 knew the Kim-and-Barry "True Son" experiment was destined to fail from the start. You can't hire a D-2 coach in basketball and a high school coach in football and expect good things to happen.
Our leadership is truly inept and the majority of our fans are clueless about what it takes to win at a high level. The great Ehren Earleywine (former MU softball coach, and victim of Sterk's incompetence) said it best:

Winning isn't always warm and fuzzy. It's not a love fest. It's a fight. Being a highly competitive coach means occasionally getting on your players when they aren't giving their best effort. The [university] is obviously trying to straighten things out and find itself after a series of bad decisions over the past few years, but somehow keeps stepping in it. Political correctness, allowing kids more power than people in positions of authority, and their love affair with soft coaching has gotten the University where it is today. I used to care deeply, now it's someone else's problem.
EE is one of the best coaches Mizzou has ever had — arguably the best coach we've had in the past 20 years... and Sterk fired him while our admins applauded. Meanwhile, Odom continues getting raises & extensions each year. Sterk is paying him more than KU is paying Les Miles. Think about that.
It's time to clean house. Fire Odom. Fire Sterk. And find some intelligent people who actually care about Mizzou to serve on the Board of Curators.
