Maybe that's another part of the issue, people don't know how much they cost and assume everyone who drives one is rich.
You don't see the appeal in a vehicle that doesn't use gas, has instant torque, and can drive itself?
Even if that for some reason isn't your thing, surely you can still see the appeal. They are some of the best rated, safest, and best-selling vehicles.
And yes, people are stupid and don't know Tesla is an American success story. Or think that electric vehicles are un-American, or for stuck-up snobs.
